Savoie Organic Farm

Organic Farming for Better Health

It’s important to know what you’re eating. And it’s even more important to know what you aren’t eating. At Savoie Organic Farm we are certified organic, which means that all of our vegetables are grown without chemical pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. Every aspect of our farming operation is strictly monitored with yearly certification inspections by the NJDA.  Our farming practices ensure that our soil remains healthy, and we strive to create habitat for wildlife and beneficial insects such as honey bees, praying mantis, and ladybugs.

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide fresh, organic produce for our own family and our wider community of customers in southern New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City.

We harvest our vegetables hours before we bring them to market.  This guarantees that you are enjoying your produce at its peak flavor and nutritional value.

We sell our vegetables at four  'producers only' farmers' markets in  Philadelphia, South Jersey, and NYC.  We feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful community of vendors!

We take pride in using only certified organic farming practices.  Not only is this healthier for our family and our soil, but it reassures our customers that the vegetables we provide are chemical-free.

Green Energy for a Sustainable Future

At Savoie Organic Farm it is important to us that we remain good stewards of our family farmland.  This is one reason why we chose to farm our land organically.  Finding a sustainable way to power our farming operation goes hand in hand with this philosophy.  The energy demands for our farm are entirely met by a 20 kW solar array.  We are so proud to be using this green energy to power our home and farm!

A Healthier Approach to Farming

From Our Organic Farm to Your Plate

We primarily sell our vegetables at one of four different 'producers only' farmers' markets in South Jersey, Philadelphia, and NYC (see the Farmers' Markets tab below for details).  We also provide vegetables to some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia and NYC.  Because the farm is also our home, we do NOT maintain a farm stand/retail store at the farm and conduct no sales on the premises.
