2020 CSA program
In the interest of providing our vegetables to consumers while promoting social distancing during the covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to re-open our pre-boxed CSA program.
Details and important covid-19 information with regard to our CSA can be found here. Shares can be purchased in 4-week increments from our online storefront at:
Pick up is available at one of three locations:
Shares can be purchased through our online store, and pick up will be grab-and-go to adhere to social distancing recommendations. We will NOT be offering a buffet-style CSA pick up at the farm as we did in years past. This is to protect ourselves so that we can remain healthy and productive this growing season. Anticipated start: mid-May.
Farmers' market updates:
**New market: Abingdon Square, NYC on Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
beginning tomorrow, April 25 through at least June 13th
The farmers' markets in NYC and Philadelphia are considered "essential" food sources and will remain OPEN through shelter in place orders.
The Collingswood Farmers' Market will open Saturday, May 2 with a new format and new location. It will be a "Farm-to-car" drive thru market in the Scottish Rite parking lot for exclusively online pre-orders. All customers must arrive in cars, and there will be no sales the day of the market; only pre-orders. Our Collingwood customers can visit our online storefront to place their orders:
Our Headhouse and Union Square customers are also welcome to place online pre-orders for pick-up at their markets. Simply click on the appropriate market tab to see the available items and start shopping! We ask that all online orders be placed by 8 p.m. two nights prior to pick-up to ensure we have ample time to fill your order.
If you are local and miss the market experience, you are encouraged to shop with us at our year-round market at Headhouse Square in Philadelphia. As detailed below, the market has put many social distancing measures and other precautions in place to ensure a safe environment. In addition to our early spring crops, we are offering a wide array of our home-grown, certified organic seedlings for home gardeners. Varieties will include our typical selection of potted herbs, tomatoes, peppers, and other vegetables that our Collingswood customers have come to rely on each year. Parking at Headhouse is plentiful due to local bar and restaurant closures.
As of 4/4/20, the Headhouse market is requesting that customers wear the CDC-recommended cloth masks. All vendors and market staff are required to wear masks. These extra measures are to ensure a safe shopping environment for everyone who attends the market. Headhouse is also providing a private time slot for seniors and the immunocompromised to shop from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to help protect our most vulnerable customers.
